About the RCToolZ.com 1/8 scale buggy / truggy tire gluing jig.

RC Efficiency was born from the need to glue lots of 1/8 scale buggy tires quickly, and not finding a jig on the market that evenly compressed the tire 360degrees around.
I used to have the tire jig that we have all seen with a hinge on one side, but it was such a pain in the neck because of the uneven compression, I needed to make something better.
Here is the 360 degree floating top tire compressor. The jig is designed to compress the tire about an 1/8" by itself, then the user will further compress it by hand as you glue around the bead. This allows the glue to get in deeper into the bead of the tire.
The base is designed to fit Buggy and Truggy tires, however the top plate clamp is different for each size.
These units are 3D printed out of high strength ABS plastic with a high fill ratio for part stiffness.
The surface of the part looks 3D printed, It's not meant to be smooth like molded plastic. Sometimes you can see the separate lines and that's ok. These parts have survived living in my Ogio pit bag smashed in with everything else, and glued tons of tires, no problems. I'm not saying it's ok to stand on it or throw it around. But they are pretty strong. I decided to change the name to RCToolz.com because i can't even spell Efficiency let alone ask everyone else to spell it to go to the web site.  The name RC Efficiency came out of trying to convey that these tools have been thoughtfully created to do everything well.
